The Friends of Malcolm X Park is a diverse group of volunteers from the
immediate neighborhood and across Philadelphia who are interested in
seeing Malcolm X Park thrive. The group meets in the park on
the
first Wednesday of every month during the warm months or in a member's
house adjacent to the park during the winter or in the event of rain.
Our activities include organizing great events in the park,
participating in clean-ups, advocating for new resources, and of
course, socializing with our neighbors. Annual membership is
a
nominal $5 for individuals and $10 for households, though of course any
further donations would be put to good use for the park's greatest
needs! If you would like more information, please contact us
through the feedback form, or if you would like to go ahead and join,
you can do so by printing out a paper
form and mailing it in. You will receive a letter
acknowledging your tax deductible contribution.
